Billerud Wisconsin Rapids Converting Facility is accepting applications for future production opportunities. Rate of pay starting at $26.92 per hour, plus shift differential. All openings are at 24/5 operations so candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and a schedule that possibly includes weekends and holidays. Earn 5 days of vacation at 6 months and 2 weeks at 1 year, along with a great benefit plan.

Essential Job Functions Include the Following:

• Lifting heavy objects
• Climbing stairs and ladders
• Considerable amount of walking, reaching, and turning
• Reading and using measuring devices, including gauges and instrument dial
• Legible handwriting
• Performing basic math
• Performing data entry
• Understanding computer reports
• Comply to FDA standards and requirements
• Comprehending and following written and verbal procedures and policies
• Regular, predictable attendance
• Working shifts (6:30-2:30; 2:30-10:30; 10:30-6:30)
• Working overtime as business needs dictate
• Working all days of the week (operations are 24/5 with occasional weekends)
• Additional essential job functions are applicable to specific jobs.

Job requirements:

• Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly (maximum lifting up to 100 pounds may vary by location)
• Pushing/pulling carts of paper
• Climbing stairs and ladders
• Considerable amount of walking, reaching, and turning
• Obtain Company Power Industrial Truck Operator’s licenses

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18   
• High school diploma, HSED, or GED
• Legible handwriting
• Perform basic math, data entry, and understand computer reports
• 2 years of work experience (manufacturing preferred)
